DOJA CAT'S KITTENS ARE MEOWING WITH CONCERN AFTER MTV ANNOUNCES HER AS THE HOST OF MTV'S 2021 VMAs
While most of the talk surrounding MTV's 2021 VMAs has been about Normani not performing this year, panic is growing on Twitter after MTV announced that none other than Doja Cat will be hosting this year's show. Doja posted on Twitter, "I’m hosting the 2021 #VMAs this year Wowowowowowow Tune in on 9/12 at 8pm on @MTV.
Later a Kitten tweeted, "I'm so excited abt Doja hosting the VMAs but also so nervous for my sister bc baby that sense of humor…….is NOT universal." That comment has over 50k Likes and has me rolling because I completely understand the tweet. The real question is, does MTV understand the tweet? As another Kitten put it, "She got the sense of humor of a 12-year-old white boy. Lod Imma pray." Does MTV know they put the fate of their show in the hands of a woman who posts photos of herself sleeping with boogers in her nose?
In all seriousness, I think Doja Cat will do great as host if she can calm her nerves. It seems like when she gets nervous is when the 12-year-old white boy pops out. The show airs on Sept. 12th at 8 PM.
Are y'all surprised MTV picked Doja Cat to host?
