As Pop fans try their hardest to prevent any competition between their fave Pop girls by constantly trying to pit Doja Cat against the rap girls, people in the industry see Doja Cat as a threat to the Pop girlies, not the rap girls.
Also, I understand why Pop Nicki is brought up with Doja Cat, but the way the conversations end up is a Lil too similar to how they bring up Cardi B in connection to Nicki. As Doja keeps winning, especially if she wins Grammy, we may have a Deja Vu moment.

I listened to the snippet you put up, the only thing I disagree on is Doja doing what Nicki couldn't do. While it may be true to some, I hate to bring race into it, but Doja reap the benefits of being biracial. She can easily do pop while being nominated in those categories, and get to say nigga at the same time. The songs that they say is a "pop" song from Nicki was never nominated in those categories.
