Megan Thee Stallion Says 1501 Entertainment Is Still Trying To Stop The Music

I knew something was going on between Megan Thee Stallion and Carl Crawford/1501 Ent after I saw her sending out subpoenas. In the latest news, TMuthafcknZ is claiming that 1501 Entertainment is preventing the release of the BTS "Butter" Remix featuring Megan because they do not feel it would be good for her career. Um...what???

In court documents, Megan's team claims that the real reason 1501 does not want to clear the song is that they want a six-figure payout. How are they asking for money, they owe Megan???

I cannot wait for her to get away from them. Her contract with them was for like three albums. Really she has already fulfilled her obligations, but with those shady rules in her contract, she owes them 2 more projects. I would re-release something and count it towards an album. They are probably the reason her promotion is not up there with other Grammy winners.

Roc Nation can stop every other artist according to Youtube, but can't stop Carl???

BTS requested Megan Thee Stallion back in July...

In June, Carl Crawford was crying about getting credit, then he goes and denies Megan's request in July. Talk about playing both sides.

Variety reported that Megan Thee Stallion keeps her winning streak alive, and BTS will be allowed to release their "Butter" remix with her on it.

People can hate all they want but to see a Black female rapper surrounded by a competent team is refreshing to me.

I was wondering how she would fit with the song but she did pretty well in the song. The BTS fans seems to love it.

It’s definitely flopping, considering that any BTS song usually enters the Top 10 on iTunes within an hour, and the remix hasn’t even reached top 200 on iTunes.

I give you that, the word flop is obviously negative, although that was not the intention.

So if the song “flop” then Meg has to pay her label 100k. If it doesn’t, she keeps her 100k. This is really crazy because what is determined a flop for song that has already spent weeks at #1? The song is 100% going back to #1 if BTS mass buy like they usually do lol. But if Megan isn’t credited will they consider it a flop? Like what the hell?!

If you read the emails between RN and BTS management then you’ll see that the goal of this remix is to push BTS back to #1. Now, to 1501 it might be different. The song might have to sell 100k. Megan solo songs normally do 100k in a week. But I’m not sure about her features. But 100k is NOTHING to BTS. Lol. And y’all are silly if y’all really believe 1501 care about whether the song flop or not. They want money and to slow Megan down, period.

How many albums are left so that Meg can leave 1501. Am sick of Carl. He is trying to stop Meg’s bag.
