Megan Thee Stallion isn't just making a musical comeback; she's boldly reclaiming her presence on social media. So, it was exciting to see our Houston Hottie, dressed in a cute pajama jumpsuit, having fun on IG Live during what looked like a sexy slumber party with friends last night.
In a candid moment during the Live session, she was asked, "Are you excited about this era?" Now reveling in her newfound independence, Megan responds confidently, "Of course, I am excited for this era because I get to do everything I want to do, whenever I want to do it. And I'm about to give everybody exactly what they've been looking for - good or bad. Like if you've been calling for me - here I come."
These last words vibrate with a sense of assurance, as if Megan has been preparing to confront those who exploit her name for fabricated drama, whether for music promotion, bloggers talking sideways about her, or Blueface's mama, who just can't seem to keep Megan's name out of her weird-ass posts.
Let's be real; there's a list of people who might find themselves on the receiving end of Megan's venomous pen.
But, when it comes to Twitter (X), there's a resounding desire for Megan to silence Nicki Minaj. Nicki has been conjuring up an imaginary beef with Megan Thee Stallion through her music and social media for years. However, when it comes to interviews, she seems hesitant to stand on business. As I explored in my 2021 piece, "Should Megan Thee Stallion Give Us The Rap Battle Nicki Minaj Has Denied Us For So Long?", Nicki has a history of using subliminal disses and indirect tactics to engage in hip-hop beef. This pattern of behavior leaves the door wide open for Megan to strike first, putting Nicki Minaj in the uncomfortable position of not only being on the clock but possibly losing her first real rap battle to a so-called "dud"...LMAO!
No matter what Megan decides, I'm here for every moment and emotion, from vulnerability to viciousness and everything in between in this upcoming era.
