While we wait for Megan Thee Stallion to drop some new music, today, fans got a treat when A24 dropped the first trailer for its comedy, Dicks: The Musical. This film will mark Megan Thee Stallion's film debut and will allow her to show off her acting and comedy chops next to acting powerhouses Megan Thee Mullally and Nathan Lane.
Dicks: The Musical is a remix to the classic movie "The Parent Trap," where two business adversaries, Craig and Trevor, discover they are long-lost identical twin brothers and they decide to switch places to reunite their divorced parents.
By the looks of this trailer, Megan Thee Stallion plays a significant role in this movie, or A24 loves her performance so much they decided it was best to use her to promote the film; either way, Megan is crossing over, baby! No more relying on the chitlin circuit for her.
A24 will debut Dicks: The Musical in select US theaters starting September 29th, 2023.
