While Cardi B tries to set up a chat with Meghan Markle after her landmark defamation win over Youtuber Tasha K, many are already whispering about Belcalis's impending court battle in Queens, NY. Tomorrow, February 4th, 2022, barring another delay, a hearing is set for her and her two co-defendants for their involvement in a 2018 Queens' strip club brawl.
Unlike in her civil lawsuit against LaTasha Kebe:
Cardi B Is The Defendant
The Verdict in This Case Can Result In The Loss Of Her Freedom
Olga Will Not Be In The Courtroom
THE RETALIATION
According to court documents seen by NBC New York, on August 29th, 2018, Cardi B, Tawana "Remy Roja" Jackson-Morel, and Jeffrey "Chuck Taylor" Bush orchestrated the date, time, and location of a brutal attack on sisters Baddie Gi and Jade via social media. The reported attack was retaliation for an alleged affair between Cardi B's husband, Offset, and former bartender, Jade. Additionally, there is purported evidence of Cardi B discussing a payment with Remy Roja and Bush's role, as the one, to record the assault.
THE FEDS BE WATCH'N
What makes Cardi B's case more compelling is the connection to the 2020 gang sweep on the 5-9 Brims that led to the indictment of Cardi B's best friend Yonette "Star Brim" Repass and her co-defendant Jeffrey Bush.
On August 15th, 2018, Star Brim, from prison, purportedly ordered her "drops" (young women gang
members) to "pop the bottle" on sisters Rachel and Sarah Wattley, professionally known as Jade and Baddie Gi, for not showing proper respect to another gang member. However, according to prosecutors, after the assault, Star Brim was "dissatisfied" and discussed whether it was "vicious enough." Two weeks later, coincidentally, the altercation involving Cardi B happened; that's if you believe in coincidences.
According to the F.B.I. press release, "Bush recorded the assault on his cell phone, and the video was sent to the gang member on behalf of whom Repass allegedly ordered the attack."
In my piece "Are The Feds Building a Case Against Cardi B?" I breakdown why I believe Cardi B is the anonymous gang member and point out where the press release hints at the FBI knowing:
Star Brim set the attack up on behalf of this anonymous gang member
The Identity Of This Unnamed Gang Member Who Received The Recording From Bush
CO-DEFENDANTS
JEFFEREY BUSH, A.K.A. CHUCK TAYLOR
Bush apparently is the Spike Lee of the gang. In both indictments related to the attacks on Jade and her sister Baddie Gi, he is accused of filming the assaults. If the prosecutor handling the state's case against Cardi B is in possession of these videos along with the alleged surveillance video from the bar showing Cardi B throwing ice buckets at the sisters...then why is she allegedly turning down plea deals?
What does Teflon Cardi know that we don't know?
TAWANA JACKSON-MOREL, A.K.A. REMY ROJA
Remy Roja, or as Tasha K used to call her "Black Lip Remy," is another person who plays a pivotal role in this case. She is the one Cardi B allegedly paid to attack the bartenders.
Remy went viral after admitting to smacking Baddie Gi but claimed Cardi B did not order the attack. In her own incriminating words, "I flew across that fck'n bar." Welp, that seems like an open and shut case for her, but somehow she is fighting the charges with her high-profile attorney Stacey Richman. Richman's past clients include Lil Wayne, Ja Rule, and even Jay-Z.
Now, if you are like me, you probably are wondering how the hell is she affording an attorney like Richman? Is Cardi B paying her attorney fees?
Well, I got curious and searched for Black Lip Remy, and guess where I found her...on APPLE MUSIC! Remy Roja is now a rapper. So, maybe she is making enough off streams to pay for her lawyer?🥴
Remy is out here living her best life. No signs of flipping.
FEB. 4TH, 2022
Now, there were rumors that Cardi B's lawyer worked something out, but that was weeks ago. So, maybe tomorrow something will be reported.
However, unless the so-called evidence the prosecutor(s) have is false, I do not see how Cardi and her co-defendants beat this case without a plea deal and/or becoming Hip Hop informants.
So far, Cardi B has been the Teflon Don, Houdini, and a cat with 9 lives when it comes to finding her way out of trouble. We will see if her luck continues.
*Tomorrow is a HEARING, not the trial.
