Well, I was right and wrong about the return of the self-proclaimed King of New York, Tekashi 6ix9ine. I was right about his addiction to fame wouldn't allow him to be a different type of artist. I was wrong with how popular he would be. I guess the verdict is still out, but it seems like he will be one of the biggest artists of 2020. I forgot my own words; IT'S NOT ABOUT THE MUSIC, IT'S ABOUT THE "STORY" AND THE "PERSONALITY." Tekashi has a compelling story and a huge personality. Those are two combos hard to beat.
I watched his IG Live and found it interesting how emotional he looked. He looked like he wanted to cry. It was as if he were remembering all the times his feelings got hurt as he was ranting. But it was fitting considering he did tell a sob story to his record-breaking 2M viewers on Instagram Live.
So, y'all know I love to relate strategy moves by rappers to the 48 Laws of Power. But, I don't need 48 Laws
of Power to see what Daniel Hernandez's "path to victory" is, VIVA LA MEXICO! 6ix9ine is going to do it for La Raza. It did not go unnoticed by me that In his response to Meek Mill calling him out this morning, 6ix9ine said, "Imagine having a newborn baby come into the world & be pressed about a Mexican with rainbow hair." I found it odd him referencing himself as only Mexican because I am so used to the "half Puerto Rican" lie being used as a way to explain why Blacks allow 6ix9ine to use the N-word. Mind you, the Puerto Rican side he always claimed came from his step-father, not his biological father. Also, we all know that not all Puerto Ricans are Black.
During his Instagram Live, he explained why he snitched. To summarize, he was an innocent Mexican kid who tried showing these dumb Black gang members how to make money until they betrayed him. Meanwhile, there are messages of "Latino Power, Viva Mexico, and Mexican flags in the chat. Now, obviously, there is nothing wrong with having Mexican Pride, but I don't remember this being his thing prior to snitching.
DO YOU NEW YORK N*GGAZ FEEL STOOPID?
Tekashi 6ix9ine pulled his emergency privilege parachute once arrested. He remembered that he is not actually a "n*gga," he just uses the word for entertainment purposes. Now, he is free and the actually "n*ggas" are locked up. The Latino/Hispanic communities are going to support 6ix9ine in a way we don't do our own. Now, you New York knee-grows gotta listen to him "bitches is my son" y'all asses all year.
Comment, Like, Share...Thanks!
@Veronica, exactly! People forget that the gang did things because 69 wanted it to be done for his image. He was not this innocent kid. Then when it gets too hot, he is Latino.
I never liked 69 saying the N-word, but now when he says it, it's like he is calling people "boy"
There’s privilege in being a non black person in hip hop that no one wants to talk about. If 6ix9ine was a black man he would still be sitting behind bars like the rest of Trey way. No one can convince me otherwise smh
@Bri I feel the same as you and I only know one of his songs. I hurts my soul that some people are ok with killing another human over dumb shit. When Pop Smoke was killed that literally broke my soul. He looked so much like my nephew that it hurt me. Call me corny but that’s how I felt. I don’t know 69 just like I didn’t Nipsey but if Nipsey didn’t deserve to die than 69 doesn’t deserved to have his life taken from him regardless of what went down. I stand for Living and forgiving.
I just don't like that he was expected to be loyal to people who were fucking him over the entire time. And for people saying he's going to die behind snitching, weren't they trying to kill him before that?! Maybe I'm missing something, but after an attempt on my life, there is no loyalty. Call that whatever the hell you want...
Yeah he might even be in Mexican blood gang now lol. Ik hes always been this way but I hate that he came home with that same cocky mentality.
Yaya I seen TSB post a prediction that hes going to be killed. All I thought about was the tarot card girl you posted the other day. I said let me go see if she said this in one of her readings 🤷🏾♀️.
Also Yaya what are your thoughts on Weak Mill being so vocal about him?
