A month after announcing her retirement from music, Teyana Taylor is already flourishing in her new career path. She wrote, "Although I closed certain chapters in 2020, I'm blessed with the book of opportunity."
Teyana announced that she and her partner in crime/The Aunties Inc co-founder, Coco Gilbert, have purchased a 5-acre lot that includes production, dance, recording, prop studios, equipment, and 360 green screen room for creatives. They are calling it Aunties 360.
This is so groundbreaking, IMO. By Teyana Taylor putting her ego aside and not forcing the R&B artist thing, she is doing bigger and better things behind the scenes. The possibilities are endless for her.
Being a Black woman creating this with another Black woman...that alone! This inspired me more than I was before. We can all do this. We don't all have to be in the limelight to make shit happen or to shine.
