TMZ reported that a judge ordered Tory Lanez under house arrest until his trial for shooting Megan Thee Stallion starts on Nov. 28th after allegedly assaulting August Alsina last month. As we all know, Tory got his feeling hurt after August refused to dap him up while performing in Chicago.
Well, the L.A. prosecutor in his felony assault case is not playing. They had already asked for him to be locked up when he violated his restraining order the 2nd time, and this time they requested for him to be remanded into custody for violating the conditions of his bail. Shawn Holley argued that he should not be locked up since there were never any charges. What a defense!
The judge splits the difference and makes Tory Lanez stay home with an ankle monitor.
While leaving court, Tory Lanez told TMZ he feels like he is fighting the world, and the ruling was a perfect example of how the criminal justice system treats Black men.
Does Tory realize he is accused of shooting a Black woman while her back was turned???
